Colocation Hosting

For some, keeping their servers at their business or a private center just isn’t feasible. For those cases, a colocation server is the best option. Users rent out cabinets or racks to house their equipment and the server takes care of things like the IP address, bandwidth, and power. These types of servers are quite affordable and can offer higher speeds without the high cost. With that said, though, users are mostly on their own and will be required to take care of everything, including equipment and software.

Shared Hosting

This type of hosting is perfect for those that are just beginning to store their information. Dedicated Server Hosting

If you’re looking for the most control possible, then a dedicated server is one of the best options. Users rent out servers and their website is the only one stored on it. You have full access and can change anything when needed. While this sounds good, these servers tend to cost quite a bit more than other options. These are usually used by those websites that have a lot of daily traffic and have the technical knowledge to deal with the day-to-day operations.

Cloud Hosting

As of recently, cloud hosting has been all the rage. With this type of server, everything is stored over a network. Many different computers and applications work together to keep the cloud up and running. Not only does this gives users a lot of flexibility, but they can access their data almost anywhere that allows a connection to the network. In addition, you won’t have to worry as much about servers going down because all of the data is stored across multiple devices.
