When it comes to AI, we need to be careful of how we use it. Yes, it has the potential of making our lives easier, but how, exactly, should we be using it? It’s true that in order to be competitive you need to be smart, and this means remaining agile. Yet, if you feel as if you are at maximum capacity, how can you adapt to these changes? Well, you need to have enough time to be able to do that. You need to free up some of your time so that you can have some room to not only be adaptable, to build on your successes.

This is where AI really shines. In general, it can help you work a lot more efficiently, freeing up your time in-house to do other things. For digital marketing, you can treat it as your assistant. Here’s more information:

Use AI As Your Data Assistant

When it comes to digital marketing, you need data to assess progress and determine what changes you need to make to your strategy. It can also help you make a digital marketing strategy. Data can also alert you to any issues that need to be addressed. However, data’s effectiveness depends on how well you can process what the numbers mean.

This is something that AI can assist you with. It can scan large amounts of data and share with you some of its insights. Granted, you shouldn’t let AI totally replace you in doing this task. Yet, it can help you by directing your attention to certain things, and it could also give you insights that you may not have of thought of before. Either way, AI can be a timesaver here.

AI Can Assist You with Content Creation

To be clear, you shouldn’t use AI to actually write the content. This could have long-term repercussions that we aren’t aware of yet. Quality content is still king, and though search engines aren’t cracking down, that doesn’t mean they won’t crack down in the future. It’s best to play it safe and to create the content by hand.

However, you can still use AI during this process. AI can brainstorm lists of topics, help you develop a unique content marketing strategy that aligns with your audience and your sales cycle, and maybe even outline an article. However, the actual writing should be down by human writers. Even though AI is perfectly capable of doing the writing, this isn’t ideal. AI will never quite fully capture your brand voice, and your audience can usually tell the difference.

In general, AI can support just about every part of a digital marketing strategy. It should be used to enhance your efforts and save time. Besides what we have mentioned above, you can use it for other tasks, such as to help with social media creation (keeping in mind that you should still write the posts yourself), to help uncover new opportunities, and to even create the strategy in the first place. It can be a real time saver!
