When registering a new website, it’s important that you register it for a ten year minimum, even if you aren’t 100% sure you’re going to be using it for the full 10 years. From an SEO standpoint, this tells the search engines that you are invested in the success of your website and this helps build search engine trust. From a business perspective, registering your website for 10 years means you don’t have to worry about failing to renew your website’s registration on time, which can be disastrous if missed.
