The search engines do not like to see duplicate content. In the eyes of the search engine spiders, duplicate content is an attempt to get more links to rank on a SERP (search engine results page) for specific keywords. Thanks to the Panda update, we know that we shouldn’t publish duplicate content across the web and the focus is now on original content when submitting to article submission and industry sites. But what about on your own website? Duplicate content there is also a big “no no” and in most cases a website owner might not even realize that they have a duplicate content issue.
